Rising Harte Wellness Center (RHWC) is a community health clinic located on the campus of Fred Finch in Oakland, CA.

What You Will Do
Under the immediate supervision of the Clinic Coordinator the Health Navigator provides direct service to community members focusing on COVID 19 Mitigation activities, while being based at and operating from the Wellness Center, delivering services onsite and in the community.

Shifts Available 
Full Time - Hourly; Mon-Fri/8am-5pm

Salary Range
In accordance with California law, the expected salary range for this California position is between $22.55 and $36.73 per hour. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law. This is a COVID-19 Mitigation Grant position, which will end on March 31st, 2025.

What You Bring to The Table (requirements):

 1. High School Diploma or GED.
2. Experience providing health education or working in a community setting.

3. High school graduate or GED.4. Ability to complete the training program and ongoing educational requirements as
assigned.
5. Ability to work flexible hours.
6. Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team utilizing effective communication skills

13. Must attend agency approved crisis de-escalation training to respond quickly to 
emergencies.
14. Clean driving record: current CA Driver’s License or ability to obtain within 10 days after 
hired.
15. Must have access to dependable transportation; personal car insurance meeting 
minimum liability coverage or transporting participants.
16. Basic computer and keyboarding competence with the ability to use Microsoft Office Suite 
and/or competency with electronic clinical documentation systems.

Preferred
1. Multilingual capabilities.
2. B.A. Degree.
3. Prior experience as a Community Health Worker, Peer Support Specialist, Medical 
Assistant or similar role
